Expasyl® is a viscous paste for use in all procedures requiring gingival retraction including: impressions, seating of restorations, fitting rubber dams, and restoring class II, III, and V cavities.

Expasyl provides excellent retraction and is an alternative to dental retraction cord. It requires minimal pressure, requiring less time and force than is needed with packing cord. It is hemostatic, controlling bleeding and crevicular seepage.
