The Nupro Freedom Inner Module contains the motor and electronics used to control disposable prophy angle speed. It is powered by a long lasting lithium rechargeable battery and visual charge indicators display the charge level.
The Nupro Freedom Outer Sheath is autoclavable and provides a sealed fluid seal to isolate the inner module from patient contact. The Nupro Freedom Inner Module is not autoclavable, and should be cleaned and disinfected between use. Disposa-Shield Disposable Polyethylene Barriers are placed over the Inner Module to protect it from debris and splatter.
